Roger Ebert: Why I Hate 3-D Movies
I agree with reason # 7 more than anything. Movies are expensive enough as it is, and the 3-D experience is not nearly worth the surcharge.
My advice: Check out the Starlight Drive-In. It’s 7 bucks a person and you get to see 2 or 3 current movies with cheap concessions (if you forget to bring your own). Plus, you’re watching a movie outside … Awesome!
