It's Always Sunny in Atlanta
I apparently am a pseudo-celebrity around Atlanta
Last night as Canadian Amy and I were waiting to be seated at Buckhead Diner, she went to the bathroom so I was standing by myself. In the background I hear someone sing, “we are the champions my friends, and we’ll keep on fighting to the end”. This strikes me as odd because it was the song I sang at the previous night’s karaoke. Then I look over and a cute young couple looking at me with a smile on their faces. I go over and talk to them, and they tell me how great I was singing last night at Tavern and that the guy was one of the people starting a “Gouda” chant afterwards.
I have decided that being recognized and complimented by strangers is very flattering, and I hope my butchering of great songs at karaoke reaches the entire city at some point.
